Ruby – One of the twelve stones of the breastplate. Imbues vigor, vitality, strength and energy. Strengthens and revitalizes the body and is therefore recommended for people suffering from lack of energy and weakness. “A woman carrying the ruby – does not miscarry, and her birth is easy upon her.”

Tree – “for the tree of the field is man’s life” (Deuteronomy 20, verse 19). The tree symbolizes strength, power, stability, development and roots. Man needs to be connected to the ground, to roots, to stability and balance.  Like a wide tree trunk with branches and good fruit embracing the heavens, we devote our lives to creating “fruit” – when we aspire to leave our mark (we too were also here). We invest in our work and our family and expect to enjoy the fruits of our labors. Man strives to return to the Garden of Eden and connect with the Tree of Life – to spirituality, meaning and eternal life.
